work bench
Work on this project has been slow over the winter months since i don't have an inside workshop. But with the warmer weather i have got my enthusiasm back and have now virtually finished the work-bench and will be moving directly onto starting to build the arcade cabinet.
Since the last update i made the finishing touches to the work-bench including fitting the top, fitting a vice, and drilling out holes in one leg which will hold a square wooden stop for when large sheets are clamped in the vice. Over the weekend I finished sanding down the bench and applied the first coat of oil which was a combination of linseed oil and turpentine. I will hopepfully apply the final coat tonight.
